Default D/Mo - Bergen[P] Undead/First City[NF] Undead Farmer

Build:

Dervish/Monk
Scythe Mastery = 9 + 3 + 1
Earth Prayers = 10 + 1
Mysticism = 9 + 1

Skills:
Eternal Aura - holy damage/keep up balth aura -
Aura of Balthazar - Holy damage/armor bonus/run -
Veil of Thorns - combines with AoS to reduce damage to ~1-5~
Armor of Sanctity
Dwaynas Touch - spike heal for warriors(restless corpse)
Mystic Regeneration - duh -
Essence Bond - e manage
Balthazar Aura - e manage

Pro:
Can handle lifesteal from undead (as opposed to 130derv)
Can handle HM undead easily(due to holy damage + eternal aura)
Can solo First City [Nightfall], with ease, note that you have to run past the 2 sets of skales - but you have to fight the lest set of skales at the entrance, should be pretty easy.
Can handle undead necro in first city without a problem because lifesteal is not a problem anymore as it was for 130derv.

Con:
any enchant removal
knockdown/massive interrupt

Known Farming Location: HARD MODE
Outside Bergen Springs, undead rangers, grasping ghouls, can handle the sorceress/warlock but it'll take more time (u can replace essence bond with sandshard to deal with the blind they always give u) - note STAY AWAY FROM NECRID HORSEMEN, you have to fight him by himself and you can kill him, he's not attached to any group - so fight him when he's solo as he can destroy enchantments
Outside Temple of Ages, (go immediately left to the bone dragon/undead rangers and bowmaster, they get owned)
Cursed Lands(go from the lower entrance from black curtain to cursed lands), Grasping Ghouls,
Stingray Strand, Inferno Imps - you need to run north west, hugging the mountain/hillside (past the skales, dont wanna mess with em) to reach the Inferno imps which you will easily own (they're about 10-12 initially, and 15+ past the Oakheart, run away from oakheart and the healer associated with it)
Outside Lions Arch, North Kryta Province - MAssive amounts of Fire Imps for the killing
D'Alessio Seaboard you can pretty much solo the whole mission up until where you have to protect the confessor in Hard Mode, good drops here. You can even solo the two bosses on the way(because they are by themselves, and not attached to a group).

Note when farming the Imps outside LA you can replace AoB with Dust Cloak so you deal earth damage that owns the imps - AoB won't be needed as they mostly do massive degen that is handled by mystic regen.

First City of Kahrunir?(SP) - restless dead, ice skales, restless corpse - you have to run to the city, past all skales, except the 3 at the entranc,e which you have to fight and aren't a problem at all(except they annoy you with 66% reduced movement)

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIGHT AWAKENED IN HARD MODE OR NORMAL MODE AS THEY ARE OFTEN ALWAYS ACCOMPANINED BY DISENCHANTS

You can't be serious with this can you? I appreciate the attempt but I get killed so fast in HM that it isn't even worth trying.

What am I missing?

All those areas (and more) can be 55 Mo/D'd far more easily... Of that I am fairly certain.
If you don't have a 55 monk though, fair enough.

ok this is good and all but the only problem is, when you hit the Skeleton Mesmer, Ineptitude kills you fast if you keep attacking, the only way to kill them is casting Eternal Aura and slowly killing them that way.

Still GJ on the build

BTW the its blathazar's Spirit not Balthazar Aura for e management, and i'm sure you have left over attribute points with the way you set them

yea i have a 55 mo/d with SoJ & mystic regen and i farm fahranur quite easy
i usually get about 1 or 2 dead swords a run and i get a sephis axe very rarely ^^

great build! My level 5 d/mo uses this to farm gates of kryta. fun stuff!


EDIT: got from level 5 to level 10 in about 10 runs (maybe less, idk)

Hmm this build is missing some attributes... i assume the wind ones for dwayna's touch but tbh i find it better to scrap that for mystic vigor with my attibutes at

You realise this thread is 3 years old, right? There isn't as much point posting if the thread has been dead for ages and very few people, if any, run this build.
